Our Story
Founded in 2014, The Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK) emerged from a recognized need to bring together environmental professionals, researchers, and practitioners under one unified platform to address Kenya's growing environmental challenges.
What started as a small group of passionate environmentalists has grown into Kenya's premier professional body for environmental practitioners, with members spanning across various sectors including government, private sector, academia, and civil society.
Today, EIK serves as a bridge between environmental science and policy, facilitating knowledge sharing, capacity building, and advocacy for sustainable development practices across Kenya.
